My doctor removed a patellar component and didn't replace it. What cpt code would I use for the implant removal? I am thinking 20680 but not sure if that fits. Thanks for your help
 
did he insert a spacer ? 20680 is for wire, pins metal bands, nail, rods or plates

If he removed the actual patellar prosthesis, you can report 27488.
