Zofran- 4mg, - 4:20 to 4:22 IV push
Toradol- 15mg - 5:57 to 5:57 IV push

I got the J codes, but stuck on the administrative codes.
Should I code 96375 and 96361

Thanks

I would do:

96374, 96375, 96376, and 96361x2

Hi Niki01

I have 1 more example if you can help me out please.

Saline- 500ml 12:15 to 12:45
Metoclopramide -10mg 12:15 to 12:45
Diphenhyramine- 25mg - IVPush
Ketorolac - 15mg - IVPush

I got the J codes.
I came with the following admin codes, but not sure....I am still learning.
96365, (initial Infusion) 96375(additional IVpush)

Also should the saline supply code be billed- it is less than 31 min so we cannot bill the admin hydration code.

Thanks.

if these meds were given into one IV SITE then: 96365, 96375x2
Saline ---you need to have 31 min in order to charge for Saline administration. however, if IVPB and Saline run in the same time you need to subtract Saline time from IVPB time. After the subtraction, if Saline runs for 31 min or more then you can charge for Saline administration.
