I have a question about the new Exceptions Coding.
We have gotten denials about the H66.92 wanting another code.
BC states they need one, But the book and the CMS guidelines state and " Use add code for any association." which there is none. they had some inflamation , she had sinusitis three months prior?

Also i had one for G56.01 rejected. there is no other for that either. just prior symptoms.

your help would be greatly appreciated by my whole office.
we have the CMS guidelines that BC sent us.
I had looked at the Exceptions section and non fit.
