Hello Everyone. I work at a little "free clinic" that serves the forgotten folk in my community. We are trying to send someone to the hospital for MRI Stroke Protocol. I am struggling to sort out the CPT for this.

I see 70551 (brain w/o contrast), 70552 (brain w/ contrast), 70553 (brain w/o & w/ contrast).

These might be fine. But stroke protocol is Diffusion-Weighted Imaging, Fluid-Attenuated Inversion Recovery. Gradient-Echo Imaging, MR Angiography (MRA), Perfusion Imaging.

In looking through my CPT book I am not finding anything on Stroke Protocol.

Can the hive-mind help me?
