Wiki help with transver and v-excision lip resection

hi all, Doctor wants to bill 40510 and 40520...I am leaning to 40525- can anyone give some insight here .

I agree with you that this was probably 40525, but the doctor is not very specific in his documentation as to how deep he made his incisions. I would query the surgeon and tell him in the future that it would be much better if he indicated the depth of his incisions, such as full thickness, partial thickness, etc.
