Patient had a previous hemi arthroplasty of the right hip. Now has loosening.
Doctor is doing a total hip arthroplasty. I am confused as to the coding. I thought
27125, but then again, no.
Do I code for total hip arthroplasty w/removal of implant? Or do I code for a revision ?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
