Does anyone have info regarding Medicare guidelines for Hepatitis A given at a doctor's office? The only guidelines I've been seeing are related for Hepatitis B. But I'm looking for info for Hep A (administration code, diagnosis, etc). Any help is appreciated.

You're probably not finding it because it's not covered under Part B Medicare; it's only covered under Part D. For any immunization not covered under Part B, our patients typically receive those through their pharmacy since they can directly bill their drug plan (if they have one). We find this as best practice to avoid eligibility and reimbursement issues.

Hope that helps.
