I need confirmation from someone who has experience coding hip arthroscopies. Doctor is performing a hip arthroscopy with debridement of labral tear along with synovectomy of inflamed synovial tissue. Can 29863 be billed along with 29862 or would it be considered inclusive to 29862 ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
per the NCCI edits, these two codes can be billed together and not inclusive of one another. I would just confirm that the documenation supports the billing of both codes prior to doing so
