does anyone know of any articles on hip labral repair + capsular release via scope? I had 2 different patients get denials on these procedures as 'experimental'. Need to appeal with info on these 2 ...thanks

This is an article that advises about code selections for hip arthroscopy codes. You may be able to help appeal their experimental ruling regarding your denails. I do know that several carriers have policies on their websites regarding labral and FAI surgeries of the hip and their non-coverage of such procedures.
