Can someone explain to me the difference between "history of MRSA" (V12.04) and "carrier or suspected carrier of MRSA" (V02.54).

Thank you!
 
V12.04 is when the condition no longer exists and the pt is not receiving any treatment but that has the potential for recurrence that may require continued monitoring.

V02.54 indicates contact with or exposure to the diseases. They are use when the patient does not show any sign or symptom but may have been exposed to it.
