ED doctor documented the diagnois is "Encounter for HIV test". and assesmentd was documented previously patient had tx for chlamydia and now she has pelvic pain.

Is it screening HIV or V 72.69 (Other lab work).

Doctor did not document " Screening".

If the encounter was to administer an HIV test it would be screening for other specified viral disease - V73.89, otherwise perhaps you could give more info on what was done for the patient?
