Hi. I would like to know if anybody can provide me clarification about the appropriate CPT code for Holter monitors when the recording is up to 72 hours or more. Usually, CPT 93227 is utilize recording for up to 48 hours by continuous rhythm recording and storage; review, and interpretation by a physician or other qualified health care professional. However, in the scenario the patch Holter monitor recording is 72 hours or more would CPT 93244 or 93248 be the appropriate code?
