Hi all,

Im medical coder in India with 4 years of work experince planning to shift to Canada as my husband is getting an opportunity there. Recently we have a kid in India she is being managed by my Parents. After shifting to Canada I need to take care of her as well. So willing to do home coding there. Can any one suggest regarding home coding options in Canada... Im a AAPC CPC holder.
 
I would also like to know the answer to this, my wife and I are planning to go there.
We are both coders, both just recently passed the exams with no experience yet. Though our line of work involves ICD-9, HCPCS, and CPT codes.

Does anybody know of opportunities, not necessarily work from home, in Canada?
Specifically Calgary, AB.

It is my understanding that Coders in Canada have RHIT bachelor degree?
Not sure anymore, but this was how it was when I looked into it a few years ago.

And having certification CPC and CPC-h
