Looking for information regarding the billing of Home Health/Hospice services provided by our physicians (not under hospital umbrella). It is my understanding that the face-to-face can be performed by the NP and/or PA but the actual document must be signed by the physician. Can the billing be submitted under the NP or PA or must the billing be submitted under physician name? I have read the info under Medicare and completed some research but cannot located any documentation which leads me to the answer to this question. Thanks for any help!
