For home sleep studies, do we bill the professional component with the CPT code (eg 95806.26), and bill the technical component with the HCPCS code (eg G0399)? Or do we bill the CPT code for both the pro and the tech?, Or does it depend on the payer? I'm confused as to why there are both HCPCS as well as CPT codes available for these.
 
CPT 95806 can be just billed globally without the 26 modifier to bill for both the professional and technical component of a home sleep study.
