I have a pulmonary office that is looking to provide patients with equipment for home sleep study and then do the interpretation/report so we can bill 95806 (just for example). Our provider is credential through AASM, do we need to have any special credentialing for the equipment from any other entity?? Also, my MC carrier is Novitas as I am in the state of Maryland. Anyone know if they have any special regulations on home sleep studies?
