Can a MSSW perform and get paid for a home visit? Not sure how this would work with the confidentiality of psychiatry.
 
Now I am really confused because in further research yesterday, I found the psych 009 social worker policy and right in there it says they can not do home visits. psych or not.

Do you have info stating they can do them? Also with it being psych would it be ok because of all the confidentiality laws?
 
Yes, they can - but this is usually considered a self pay service as most insurance companies will nto cover this. We have MSW's that will do this on occasion.
