Can a RN do home visits for an allergist specialist and administer their allergy shots? My gut feeling is saying no, but I can't find anything in writing. The CPT coding guidelines state physician and healthcare professionals, but does not give a description for "healthcare profession". Any suggestions or direction you may offer is greatly appreciated.
