If a patient is in the Hospice Home under GIP, a 99223 has already been billed out and transfers to the Hospital (still under Hospice care, never discharged) and then transferred back to the Hospice Home a few days later, would that be a 99223 or a 99233 coming back under GIP after being discharged from the Hospital? Thank you for any help.
