Our GI doctor performed a colonoscopy and found polyps in the cecum and thru out the sigmoid area. My question is he used a hot biopsy forceps to remove the cecum polyp with heat. The other polyps he removed with the same forceps without heat. Can we bill a 45384 and a 45380 with a modifier 59? He dictated that he used a hot and cold.
