Can a house doctor bill for reviewing and talking about X-Ray to the pt.'s physician if that house doctor did not see the pt at all? Any feedback will help. Thanks!:

not really anything to be billed. If he did the original interp then that was billed but I do not know of any code for this service.

The only code I know of is 76140 (26); however, this follows the same concept of a traditional consult request. Not sure if your scenario would meet the criteria needed to bill this....
