Our MA does a venipuncture for the testing, the same day of the e/m. Provider bills 36415 with Dx codes for Family HX of neoplasm breast/ and ovary. Is there another Dx code I should be attaching for the venipuncture? He does the venip. for the BRCA testing.
 
That is the diagnosis I have used in the past and it was paid. I didn't have an E/M on the same DOS though. It was a nurse visit for just that venipuncture. May hit NCCI edits.
