Hopefully someone can help. How would I code the excision of an appendix epididymis. My providers are using 54830 and I see why they would, I'm just not sure this is correct. Maybe 54512 would work? Also the appendix epididymis was normal, but the surgeon removed during an orchiopexy. So, I'm not even sure that work is billable.

Any help and/or references appreciated!
 
I have the same question as above. If incidental finding of appendix epididymis during orchiopexy, would the excision of the appendix epididymis be billable?
