Here is the documentation by the physician:

What should be the ICD 10 code/s?

ANOSCOPY: grade 2 bandable internal hemorrhoid Right Posterior LL positions, Right Anterior bandable grade 1 internal hemorrhoid

Two ICD-10 codes needed:

K64.0 1st degree (grade/stage I) (without prolapse outside of anal canal)

K64.1 2nd degree (grade/stage II) (that prolapse with straining but retract spontaneously)

I need help about hemorrhoids coding. Direct excision of external 2 hemorrhoids and 2 internal hemorrhoids by infra red coagulation. Kindly check whether 46250 and 46930 is appropriate to code.

I need assistance for Hemorrhoid Codes. What will be coded for Grade 1 Internal Hemorrhoids. As ICD 10 Index internal Hemorrhoids (without mention degree) code is K64.8. But codes of hemorrhoids with Degree is not specified as "Internal Hemorrhoids". So can we code K64.0 for Grade 1 Internal Hemorrhoids, K64.1 for Grade 2 internal Hemorrhoids and K64.3 for Grade 4 Internal Hemorrhoids. Please suggest ...
