Wiki how is wound debridement measured?

This is a silly question, but does anyone know if we are to use the pre or post debridement measurements to correctly code for wound debridements eg. 97597-97598, 11042-11047? I've looked into this but cannot find a legit website to explain. Any help would be much appreciated.

Per these articles, if the entire wound is debrided, it is the measurement after debridement. If only part of a wound is debrided, it is the size that was actually debrided.
