You just have to walk through the math step by step:
  • 3 cc is mathematically the same as 3 mL.
  • 1% lidocaine contains 10 mg/mL of lidocaine.
  • J2003 is defined as Injection, lidocaine HCl, 1 mg, so you report one unit per mg administered.

Now do the calculation:

  • 10 mg/mL × 3 mL = 30 mg of lidocaine
  • 30 mg = 30 units of J2003
