I am conducting some research on prior authorization time consumption. If anyone can give me some feedback as to about how many PAs your practice performs in an average week, and what your specialty is, I would hugely appreciate it. Thank you in advance!!
 
On average 30 surgeries per week are checked for prior auth requirements. Of those 3-4 will require prior authorization. Add to that in office procedures and the number increases to 8-10. Pediatric Urology 8 providers, 6 are surgeons.
