Hello,

I am new to home health billing and was wondering how to properly bill for bundled and un-bundled skilled services. Most of the services we provide are skilled nursing, PT, OT, and ST.

Any help would be very much appreciated!!

Sorry I forgot to add to how to bill for overlapping visits for one patient. For example, anytime I try to bill a patient's Skilled Nursing visits and their Physcial Therapy visits, the payment gets rejected..

Are you working in a licensed Home Health Agency? If you are, then Medicare and Commercial/Private Insurance are totally billed differently. Let me know who do you bill for your services.

I use the same "G" codes that I use with Medicare. I also use the same form UB 837

Im attaching a list of Home Health codes I got from UHC. this basically has all the codes you need.
Also look at Page 11 that has REVENUE CODES. This will determine if you are billing per visit or per 15 minutes. Each discipline has a corresponding REVENUE CODE (ie SN Visit = 0551)
I hope this helps.
