Hi all -

51yo pnt is in outpnt for a screening colon which is clean. She was referred by her family med Dr. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in Aug '17... She had a double mastectomy and went through chemo and is now currently on Herceptin 3x per week for the ca. My 2 questions are:
1 - Is it relevant to code the breast ca on the colon screening claim?
2- If it is, since I do not have any specifics on the type, would dx C50.919 be correct?

She has BCBS insurance.
