What procedure code would you use when billing for an ultrasound guided aspiration for a thrombosed vein. CPT 20610 is for the joint or bursa and 10022 is for fine needle aspiration? The 18 guage needle was inserted into the thrombosed vein over the anterior right foreleg and blood was aspirated.
