So our provider visits patient at bedside for foreign body in throat, dysphagia, and shortness of breath. She performs a bedside laryngoscopy and is there as a consulting ENT.
Patient is in observation and we are seeing her on her 2nd day of an overnight stay. We did not admit to Observation, the hospital did.
Since provider is looking at notes on nursing unit, can we count 1 point under "Review of prior external notes from each source" under Data Review?
