Hi,

We have codes 63650 X2 and 64555. I would think that 64555 would cascade for multiple procedures but when you look at the code in Ingenix it states it is a Device-Intensive procedure; paid at adjusted rate. Does this mean we do not cascade for the 64555 ? Thank You !!!
 
When you say "cascade" i'm assuming you mean multiple procedure reductions? If so, then yes CPT code 64555 is subject to a secondary procedure reduction or multiple procedure reduction. There are different indicators, terminology, and rates for multiple procedure reductions depending on type of provider i.e.; provider ofc, facility, etc.
