I'm auditing an OCC health Doc and I would like someone's opinion on what I should give credit for on these 2 sentences of HPI.

She has discountinued her hydrocodone at this time stating she did not like how it made her feel physically and mentally. At this time, she will use only over-the-counter pain medications.

I was wondering if anyone would give credit for MODIFYING FACTOR for "she has discountinued her hydrocodone" and ASSOCIATED S/S for " she did not like how it made her feel physically and mentally"

Is that stretching it? should I count the whole thing as a modifying factor?
Thanks!

I think I would use as just modifying factor as well. However, you might consider the way she felt as a side effect of medication treatment in medical decision making table of risk??????
Any body else have an opion on that??
