Givens rep is telling us we should be coding for the HRM 91010 & 91037 on one day then code for the 24-hr impedance 91038 on the next day. The reasoning is that the two catheters are measuring two different things. I have tried to explain the 91038 & 91037 are bundled and just because they are measuring different things and one is being inserted then removed the next day does not mean we can unbundle them. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Your docs do HRM and 24 hr pH studies both with impedance testing? I usually see HRMs with impedance or 24 hr pH with impedance.

Sorry, not much help. Just curious.
