Patient was here on 10/27 for a I & D. Patient comes back on 10/30 wtih painful swollen finger on rt hand. He was treated for an infection in his thumb couple days ago It was drained at that time but now it's hugely swollen and very painful. It was again drained. copious amounts of purulent material was extracted with immediate improvement in his pain.
BIlled 10060 on 10/27. Can we bill 10060 again, as the original 10060 on 10/27 has a 10 day global?? Please advise. Thanks

If documentation supports a repeat procedure (or a different procedure), yes you may code it. Don't forget your modifier.
