Patient was attacked by a dog with multiple bites. There were two very large deep soft tisse wounds, one was 10x12 cm and the other was 8x4 cm, plus multiple small bites measuring 2-4 cm. I am not sure if I should code 11042 and 11045. A wound vac was also applied. Procedures were performed under general anesthesia. Would anyone have any suggestions if these are appropriate?
