How would I look up " Transient alteration of awareness" in the ICD-10 book? I found the code online and in chapter 18 of my book, but i have no idea how to look it up. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
Transient Alteration of Awareness

I found the code in ICD10 by deciding first that "Alteration" was the key term. When looking for this in the index the first sub term mentioned is awareness, transient R40.4. This lead back to the disease "R40.4 Transient Alteration of Awareness." I hope this is what you were looking for.
