I need to code a procedure that one of my phsicians did. He performed a intrathecal pump revision but all he really did was open the pocket remove the reservoir and cleaned with a solution and then wrapped in a solution soaked gauze. The pocket was then packed with gauze as well. After soaking the pocket for 5 minutes the gauze was removed and hemostasis was obtained. The pocket was then rinsed and the reservoir was then placed back into the pocket. The pocket was then closed and the pump was primed and set.

Is there a code that covers all of that?

I am trying to not use an unlisted code.

62360-subcutaneous 62361- non programmable pump 62362- programmable pump ......... from your description I would use 62360 but if the note doesn't state which pump i would query the provider. hope this helps.
