I am confused with my doctors note regarding Bipolar disorder. Generally my doctor mention Bipolar disorder, currently manic; Psychotic features.

In this case code leads to F31.2 Bipolar disorder, current episode manic severe with psychotic features But there is no mention of "Severe" on doctors note.

So can i code F31.9 or F31.2

I would thankful if any one give some light in this.
