Hi All,
Can somebody advise our provider is using code T14.8XX_ other injury of unspecified body region for all Muscle Strain Dx. is it correct?

Of course it is not acceptable.your provider is just picking a code that gets it done for him and not necessarily the most specific or correct choice. I am sure the actual documentation of the problem is much more specific. You should be able to select the more specific code from the narrative note. It will not matter that it does not match the code the provider selected as long as it matches the diagnosis rendered in the note.
