Hi can someone please clarify!

As an Outpatient Clinic Coder will I be required to code procedures using ICD-10-PCS? Or will I still be using CPT code to report my procedures?

It is my understanding that I will not be required to code procedures with ICD-10-PCS and will continue to use CPT for procedures.

ICD-10 CM for the diagnosis is used in all healthcare locations and all provider types. ICD-10 PCS is for use in inpatient facility coding only. Outpatient and physician will continue to use HCPC II and CPT codes
