I manage the billing dept for an ASC group- we do all of the billing for about 28 GI center. We do not do the coding - the facility is responsible for codes and most of this is done through their EHR systems. Our billing software is slated for an update to ensure we are icd-10 ready as are the EHR software. I realize that we are going to have to ensure all things are in place but because we are limited to 1 specialty and we don't do the coding am I wrong in not feeling panicked about this transition. I would welcome any comments or thoughts other billing companies might have. thanks
