Wiki Icd 10

My supervisor has me confused about my certification and ICD 10. I am certified with ICD 9 and took the ICD-10-CM Online Assessment Course and past that test. Do I need to take any additional classes for the ICD 10 to keep my certification. My supervisor thinks I need to take the whole certification course over to be qualified to code for ICD 10. Please let me know in case I have to get enrolled.

Go to the AAPC website and click on the Certification tab

Go to Verify Credentials, and put in your membership number and last name

Look under where your certifications are. If you see "ICD-10 proficient," then you are ICD-10 certified with no need to take any classes
