so i am wondering if anyone can help re: drug seeking behavior vs drug addition code? obviously seeking is different than actually diagnosis of addiction but.... what would be the best code to be used?
 
I would use the V652 - "person feigning illness" for the drug-seeking and I would probably use it along with the 30590 - "mixed/unspecified drug abuse unspecified use" unless there was a more specific drug abuse/dependance specified by the documentation.
