Pt came in for an US abdomen...clinical hx if left upper quadrant pain.

Impression: left mid kidney renal stone.

I billed it out with 592.0, got rejection from Houston Trailblazers that 592.0 is not a payable dx code. Would it be coding correct to resubmit with 789.02?

it looks like

for 5920 the test is usually retroperitonial u/s limited. I think that you should code 78902 and 5920 in your case.
 
Order is for a complete abdominal US and all elements are documented? Billing 789.02/592.0 would be appropriate?
