I have a question about CPT 33249 (ICD Implant) We have received a request for a refund on a claim from 2021, stating we should have billed it as a clinical trial.
From reading the NCD 20.4, looks as if the clinical trial was no longer required as of 2/18. Can someone please tell me if CPT code 33249-QO should be billed in
clinical trial study. Thanks so much.
