As I going through Chap 15, I am noticing that some conditions which occur during the delivery, such Chorioamnionitis (O41.12-) does not have a diagnosis code which indicates during labor or delivery. It only contains diagnosis code for each trimester. How would this be coded for a delivery? Do you not code at all or do use just use the diagnosis for the trimester the patient is delivering during?
