I'm having trouble finding an icd-9 code for an external iliac perforation. Any suggestions?

Try 998.2, of course the artery may have been the access site. If so, 998.2 does not apply. Perhaps the reason this is being evaluated is for a hematoma at the access site? If so, look at 998.12
