Can anyone verify for me that there will be no code changes for 2013? Dont want to purchase new books if there will be no changes..

Thanks

There's quite a few, actually. Over 700, I believe. I'd recommend getting new books. I code Cardiology and there are plenty of changes there alone. Just my opinion.

Sorry, I immediately thought CPT. I would still get new books but I understand why you wouldn't want to spend the money if not needed. My company buys ours. It's a very nice perk.

There were no ICD-9 diagnosis changes for 2013 so your 2012 book is still compliant. It is anticipated that there will be no further revisions to ICD-9 CM ever.
