Our organization is looking to do an immunization clinic at our Children's Clinic location. We would like for both pediatric patients and adults to receive immunizations. Has anyone had success with reimbursement when an adult (possibly Medicare patients) receives a vaccination at a pediatric facility (by a pediatrician)?

My fist questions would be, is it with in a pediatrician's scope of practice to give vaccinations to an adult.

I would be cautious as it depends on the immunization on whether Medicare will even cover under Part B, regardless of the physician's specialty. The majority of immunizations are only covered by Part D. Second question would be the same as the above - is it within the scope of practice?
